The tavern was recommended to us by friends. By and large, everything was fine. The waiter was very friendly, the food was tasty. Should it be necessary to pay more attention to the minimum distances and the locals slightly drunk guests actually don't need to sing folk songs, as Greek music plays in the background, which also fits better with the ambience.

This place serves authentic Greek food with excellent service. The portions are enormous and the indoor ambiance is excellent. On warm days you can on their patio right next to the Loisach river with spectacular mountain views. If there's one downside then that's limited parking.

As always, the food is great here. It's just a shame that no starters could be ordered due to overload. When the boss puts himself at the grill there is a lot going on! Reservation is essential here!

Today, on our return trip from vacation, we happened to go to the Taverna Athens. Each of the three of us had a different main course and each of them was top notch! We didn't eat so well anywhere during our entire vacation! When we're around again, we'll be sure to come back! Kudos to the chef and the very friendly staff!

Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for the food. ... and there wasn't even a sandwich or schnapps. But otherwise it was nice and tasty

Very nice beer garden with very friendly service. Gyros, fries, beer, red wine and ouzo were excellent. The waiting time until the food came was quite long. Therefore only 4 stars.

The meat was very dry and partly black. The service is only partially friendly. I would not go back to this restaurant.

Very tasty food. The pizza takes getting used to and I would not recommend it. But who also orders pizza from the Greek ?! Greek specialties like musaka etc. are excellent. Large portions and a good location easily accessible via a few hiking trails in the village. Service very nice. For the pizza I would actually give it 4 stars, but that would be mean compared to the rest of the performance. Without rating the pizza with 5 stars.

Very delicious food, hospitable and attentive staff what the guests almost all wishes. Plus a great view of the surrounding mountains and the Loisach. Best restaurant by far in Eschenlohe!

I finally managed to visit this restaurant and I regret that I wasn't there much earlier. Very friendly staff, delicious and large portions at very fair prices. Nice location and large beer garden. You will see me here often.

Despite Corona it was fun to sit in the beer garden. Everything is well organized, the food tastes good and the prices are reasonable. A visit at the moment best with reservation is highly recommended.
